We have tried not to change the appearance of the website much since we started back in 2015, but the time has come for something new. We will probably tweak this a little here and there but hopefully we can have all the features that we had before.

Thanks so much. I have developed a strong interest in the war in the Philippines. One way or the other, quite a few family members and people from our home county were there. Some lost their lives on Japanese Hell Ships or were survivors of the prison camps, so Smitty’s accounts have a special interest for me.

Thanks, I will. I came across stories about the Visayan-Mindanao Guerrilla Force. Maybe she has more information about them since they resisted the Japanese for several years until the Allies began to get the upper hand.
